Disney animated cartoons are the part of our childhood memories, full of joys, adventures, passionate love, emotional fairy tales where everyone can get anything. However, this Mexican visual artist José Rodolfo Loaiza Ontiveros imagined our beloved childhood characters into modern life. Specializing in pop culture, Rodolfo transformed Disney characters in unorthodox context and showing them in dark, tough situations to explore the general theme of “loss of innocence.”

Through his unique and weird kind of artwork, he imagined situations where our classical characters involved in crimes such and problems that we face such as drugs, alcohol, and harassment. “In his work the legendary heterosexual happy endings have been deemed outdated and have lost their exclusivity. The disenfranchised will finally encounter an ending they’ve yearned for, beyond any bias or phobia.”
