What would Pokémon look like if they were human? If you have ever asked yourself the question, we will give you the answer today thanks to the drawings of the artist Chey, also known as Endifi or Frosty. Chey loves Pokémon, which is why she decided to draw them as human figures. This type of drawing style has a special name called "gijinka," which is a form of anthropomorphism in anime and manga where more qualities are given to non-human beings (such as animals, plants, supernatural entities, and fantastical creatures), objects, concepts, or phenomena. Her ultimate goal is to reimagine every Pokémon monster as a human-like character. Of course, this could be easier said than done, especially since there are close to 900 different Pokémon across games, anime, and manga.
What's special about Chey is that she was born with a bone disease called osteogenesis imperfecta and she is wheelchair-bound. But she didn’t give up... On the contrary, she found her path through art. She even graduated from "The Art Institute of Las Vegas". Continue scrolling to check out more of Frosty’s impressive Pokémon "gijinkas."
