Humberto, a Mexican born moved to the United States when he was 2 years old. He suffered from brain damage and was abused by a priest as a child. He was charged with raping, torturing, and murdering 16-year-old Adria Sauceda in the state of Texas in 1994. After 16 years of appeal, he was executed by lethal injection in Texas on July 6, 2011. His last words were said to be in a patriotic tone, they were: “Viva Mexico. Viva Mexico.”
