At the end of January, it was announced that soon there will be a new Disney princess in town - and for the first time, she's Latina!

With this, it seems very clear that Disney is trying hard to combat traditional royal stereotypes by introducing new princesses that have departed from the 'generic' white female. Yet, despite attempting to break racial boundaries, from Snow White and Cinderella, to Rapunzel and Merida, Disney heroines are still always unrealistically slim.

As a response to this, numerous artists have put their own spin on what a real princess should look like. The following fan art entertains the idea of placing a Disney princess in the shoes of real-life woman, one which is just as curvaceous as she is beautiful.
