Artist Shows What Would Happen If Disney Princesses Had Curly Hair
An illustrator draws princess from movies like "Aladdin" and "Beauty and the Beast" with curly hair, putting a refreshing, hilarious spin on classic fairytales.
This Artist Angela Mary Vaz has empathy for those with curly locks. She expresses this frustration with style and plenty of humor. She redraws Disney's most beloved princesses with wild tufts of spiraling tresses - and the complications in their 'love stories' that occur as a result.
Vaz is the author of Stray Curls, an Instagram blog that catalogs her day-to-day struggles with her uncontrollable amber main. The 'Curly Princess' series started with a drawing of Rapunzel wrestling with her bunched-up hair back in September. Since that time, her fans couldn't get enough of this creative take on classic scenes, and she kept going until the whole Magic Kingdom had red, luxurious locks coming out of their heads.
