Even as an adult, I find Mufasa's death incredibly harrowing. I will still bawl like the little four-year-old I was when The Lion King first came out back in 1994. One might not think that you could get emotionally attached to animated characters, but think again: You can.

Thankfully Mufasa is back and guiding his furry little ancestors from the heavens. Most importantly, James Earl Jones will be reprising his incredibly famous voice for the role in The Lion Guard: Return of the Roar.
