This “The Emperor’s New Groove” Fan Theory Will Change Your Childhood
It seriously threw us off our groove.

Disney’s The Emperor’s New Groove is a generally happy tale about an Inca emperor who gets turned into a llama.
But Reddit user
lish_94
has made a rather morbid observation that’ll make you reconsider everything you once believed.
We all remember the scene where Llama Kuzco wanders into the scary forest and sees this fly being devoured by a spider.
Remember how that fly screams, “Help me! Help me!”?
This scene was clearly a reference to a 1958 sci-fi horror film called The Fly.
It’s a direct quote and visual allusion to The Fly.
