4. DR. DENISE CLOYD
Since the announcement made at San Diego Comic Con about Merrit Wever joining the show, it was quite obvious that she would be playing the character of Dr. Denise Cloyd. Later the news was confirmed by Scott Gimple. The entry of Dr. Denise Cloyd is kind of predictable as Pete was killed in the last season, and this is the best time to bring in a new paramedic. In the comic the character is portrayed as a qualified surgeon. Hence, the role will come real handy for the characters in Alexandria. She will be portrayed as a character near to Rick, and she is also rumored to be romantically involved with Heath, another new character in this season.
