After Season 5's bloody finale back in May, fans of "The Walking Dead" are no doubt wondering what's in store for Rick and co. on the upcoming Season 6 premiere, set to air on AMC this weekend. Here, we've compiled 6 things you need to know to prepare for Sunday's show.

1. There Will Be a Lot of New Faces

Alexandria is home for now, and that means lots of new neighbors that our survivors must learn to live with (or most likely, have lots of disagreements with). There will be plenty of fresh faces to greet them when season six opens, including Heath ("Straight Outta Compton" star Corey Hawkins, pictured above), a popular character from the comics who's a skilled supply runner; Carter ('90s heartthrob Ethan Embry), a new potential foe for Rick (though really, aren't they all?); and Dr. Denise Cloyd (Emmy-winning "Nurse Jackie" star Merritt Wever), who picks up the medical care slack from the recently-executed Pete (Corey Brill).
