12. Huell Babineaux
Ah, Huell. Saul Goodman’s menacing (but curiously love able) henchman was given a fantastically comedic undertone by professional stand-up Lavell Crawford. The quieter of the lawyer’s bodyguard duo, he eclipsed the more talkative Kuby in the audience’s affections thanks to several hilarious scenes, especially when taking an impromptu rest on Walt’s bed-sized pile of cash.
However, Huell wasn’t merely used for laughs. He played a crucial role in the convoluted ricin plot, pick-pocketing the poisonous cigarette from Jesse, and terrified Ted Beneke into tripping on a rug and breaking his neck – a satisfying fate to befall one of the show’s most infuriating characters.
