Gilliam brought on Ledger's close friends Jude Law, Johnny Depp, and Colin Farrell to step in for Ledger in his remaining scenes.

During the middle of filming comedy Something's Got to Give, one of Hollywood's brightest stars ever was found dead at her Brentwood, CA home on August 5, 1962. Marilyn's death was probably suicide, as she passed from an overdose of barbiturates.
