Strassman was a well-known TV actor dating back to the mid-'60s with appearances in The Patty Duke Show and Ironside. She played Nurse Margie Cutler in M*A*S*H and Julie Kotter in Welcome Back, Kotter.
Sadly, she passed away in 2014 at the age of 66.

Kristine Sutherland is best known for her iconic role as Joyce Summers, Buffy's mom, on Buffy The Vampire Slayer. In an AMA on the Buffy The Vampire Slayer subreddit, she was asked what sort of special effects were used to make the kids look small in HISTK, to which she responded, "There were several sound stages in Mexico that they used to build the sets. They were at the right scale to make the kids look small. I only saw a couple of them as they were being built while we were filming the normal size part of the script first. The sets were amazing! Imagine a blade of grass that TOWERS over your head."
