Drawing Pokémon as people has been a well-known trend for years now. They're called "gijinkas" which is the Japanese word for personification. Korean artist Tamtamdi created his original spin on this popular movement by amassing over 400 original anthropomorphized illustrated Pokémon from the early years to more current Pokémon from the newer generations. Tamtamdi is on a mission to create a human version of every Pokémon and we can't wait to see the end result of this massive project.


This list only includes a selection of Tamtamdi's unique Pokemon-human mashup art from the original 151 Pokemon Indigo League generation.
