Emilia Clarke, who portrays Daenerys Targaryen (aka Khaleesi, Mother of Dragons, Breaker of Chains, etc.) on Game of Thrones, just said goodbye to the show.

The final season is wrapping up filming now, and the conclusion to the epic story airs in 2019.

Clarke posted a picture on Instagram saying, "thank you for the life I never dreamed I’d be able to live and the family I’ll never stop missing."

"Hopped on a boat to an island to say goodbye to the land that has been my home away from home for almost a decade. It’s been a trip @gameofthrones thank you for the life I never dreamed I’d be able to live and the family I’ll never stop missing #?#lastseasonitis"

She also told Vanity Fair last month that her final on-screen moments "fucked me up."

“It fucked me up,” she says. “Knowing that is going to be a lasting flavor in someone’s mouth of what Daenerys is...”

I'll just be sitting here, sobbing into my sad desk lunch, reading theories about how it will end.

Game of Thrones Season 8 will premiere on HBO in 2019.
