If you've seen the live-action Beauty and the Beast, then you probably know a) it's a pretty solid homage to the animated film, and b) it also has a few new ~twists~. Although, fair warning...


Okay, so let's talk about one of the big changes in the new film — the reveal at the end that some of the villagers are actually long lost family members of servants in the Beast's castle.

Now, according to the film, it's been MANY years since the curse was originally cast. And while we know the Beast and the servants didn't age (e.g. Chip is still a child when he turns back to human form), it seems like kind of a plot hole that the villagers appear to be as young as their cursed family members.
