Josh Sundquist lost his left leg to a rare form of bone cancer at age 9. Just four years later, he began skiing, eventually leading to a Paralympic career. Though he’s known for his performances on the U.S. Amputee Soccer Team (and his motivational speeches) (and his YouTube channel) (and his two books), he’s also become known for his surreal Halloween costumes, each of which “represent a creative twist on my situation, ideally something only I am able to dress as because of the unique shape of my body,” he explains on his site.

This year, he will be Lumiere. "Be Our Guest" Lumiere. Beauty and the Beast’s Lumiere. His wife will be Belle. Together they will be perfect. He chose the character because Lumiere is “Disney’s most famous monopod (Well, other than Ariel)."
